This talk shares the experience of some pieces of design made completely with free software (books, booklets, and others) for a team working in Córdoba, Argentina from 2005 to present. The option for free software try to “align” poetics and politics, being coherent with the topics communicated by the pieces (free software and culture, patents, DRMs, etc.), and representing an “live example” of viable alternatives to privative and/or illegal software for graphic design.
